Features Of The Design;
After safely removing all of the existing play equipment and safer surfacing, the Vale Sport & Leisure Ltd team created a new ground level profile to suit the proposed equipment safety zones.
Vale Sport & Leisure Ltd’s installation team carried out the project which included the following;
- Resin Bonded Rubber Mulch Area
- Timber Story Telling Shelter
- Dynamic Petrol Pump
- Locking Gate
- Wooden Benches
- Artificial Grass
- Wetpour with Road Markings and Roundabout
- Wooden Throne
Vale Sport & Leisure Ltd was asked to remove, prep and install a variety of surfaces and pieces of play equipment and even install a timber shelter. The main goal was to allow the children to play freely outside, which hasn’t been the case due to flaws in the draining system and the previous surface.
Client Brief;
The scheme also involved Vale Sport & Leisure Ltd’s surfacing team laying Road themed wetpour graphics to “Drive” the Children’s imagination wild, whilst teaching them vital safety skills. The diverse range of features makes sure that the project appeals to children of all interests and energy levels.
The area also includes a Timber Shelter to prevent the re-occurring problem of poor draining within the playground, resulting in the children losing out on outdoor play. To battle this we have implemented a new drainage system and laid wetpour which is fantastic in all weather, to grant the children the freedom of staying active and growing in a healthy environment.
